Abdulla Abduqodirov

First Deputy Director of the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
An economist and Doctor of Economics with extensive professional experience in public administration, public finance, financial markets, banking, investment and strategic reforms.

Biography

Abdulla Mamasaatovich Abduqodirov was born on 19 February 1961 in Tashkent.

He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy in 1982.

He began his professional career as a researcher at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. He subsequently held a number of senior positions at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, progressing from Deputy Head of Department to First Deputy Minister.

His professional experience also includes senior positions in state property management, securities market development, banking and the private sector. He worked at the Uzbekistan branch of ABN AMRO Bank N.V., served as General Director of Smart Heating Systems and Double A Solutions, and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Infinbank.

From 2020 to 2022, he served as Adviser to the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In December 2022, he was appointed First Deputy Director General of the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On 12 May 2026 he was appointed Acting Director of the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms and left that position on 10 July 2026 following a transfer to another position.

Since 16 July 2026, he has served as First Deputy Director of the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  5. 2005–2013 General Director, Smart Heating Systems LLC.
  6. 2008–2013 Member of the Supervisory Board, Infinbank.
  7. 2015–2022 General Director, Double A Solutions LLC, Tashkent.
  8. 2020–2022 Adviser to the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
